What Is The TCMA?

The Tertiary Campus Ministry Association (Australia) Inc (TCMA) is an association of people providing chaplaincy/ministry in Australian Tertiary Institutions. It aims to provide a supportive community and continuing education for its members, to maintain a directory of campus ministers (available on application from the Secretary), to publish an occasional journal, to provide a voice for campus ministry in appropriate forums and to encourage ecumenical and inter-faith understanding.

It meets each year at the annual conference and its business is conducted between meetings by the Executive, members of which are elected for two year terms. The Executive communicates with and consults members as necessary via the Association’s email list.

If you want more detailed information about how the TCMA functions, you can download and read the Constitution.

Please note that there have been recent changes made by the Office of Fair Trading that will affect the Constitution (previously known as the Objects and Rules).  These changes are currently being assessed, incorporated or processed for action.
