Conference Theme

Meetings, Meals & Mystery

Each year, at the annual conference of the the TCMA, chaplains come together from a variety of venues to read, learn, mark and inwardly digest in a number of ways: we listen to keynote addresses, engage in dialogue, share meals and take time out from daily routines.

Our conference offers both reflection and renewal, for in our coming together for "meeting and meals" we receive more than simple intellectual stimulation and physical sustenance - we are forged and bound together in relationships enriched by our common calling and our unique job descriptions.

Sometimes we are isolated, lonely and need to make a place to meet and remember our ministries and callings.

Sometimes we are emotionally, intellectually and spiritually hungry and are ready to be nourished with ideas and images.

Sometimes we come from places where we are the prime giver; we need a place of grace and mystery to slow down and listen.

We aim that the 2007 TCMA Conference in Melbourne will bring you these "Meetings, Meals & Mystery".
